|A reference sheet for my character, Reman Longtail.|
How long have you been on DeviantArt? I've been on dA since March 2013, so over two years now.
What does your username mean? Reman Longtail is a character that I made for Furcadia a few years back, and he's gradually grown to become my avatar in quite a few places online. He's a bit plain and ordinary, but I do like him.
Describe yourself in three words. Shy but friendly.
Are you left or right handed? Right handed.
What was your first deviation? This one- I actually drew it a while before I joined dA, but I guess I needed some stuff to upload to my gallery when I joined up, and this sketch seemed like an obvious candidate.
What is your favourite type of art to create? I mostly love drawing random characters. Sometimes they'll end up becoming regular characters in my later artwork, and sometimes they won't. But part of the fun is just coming up with something new.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? I used to do a bit of work in 3D modeling programs like 3ds Max and Maya. It would be nice if I could start doing stuff in 3D again like I used to.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Anthro art, mostly.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Oh, there are too many to list. But the first one that comes to mind would be DanSyron. His artwork, particularly his Flash animations, are simply a sight to behold, and it's really quite impressive how much he's improved over his time on dA. It's amazing stuff!
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? I honestly don't know. I'm kind of a shy person, I don't know what deviants I'd be in any rush to meet. Sorry.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? I would have to give a shoutout to dottedW. She's the one who convinced me to join dA in the first place years ago. I wouldn't be here without her.
What are your preferred tools to create art? I usually start by sketching out my artwork with pencil and paper. Then I'll scan it into Photoshop and ink and color it up there.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? I honestly do most of my art while sitting in front of my computer. That way it's easy for me to find reference, should I need any.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? It's hard to pick one. I guess just joining up and starting to upload artwork to the site, that was a big change for me, because it finally gave me a place to show off my work, and look for ways to start improving it.
